1950’s Style Cocktail Sandwiches
This Recipe Makes 32 Mini-Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 64 slices party rye bread
- Dijon-style mustard
- Sun Zen Sweet Red Pepper Sauce
- 8 ounces thinly sliced ham
- 8 ounces thinly sliced turkey
- 8 (1-ounce) slices Swiss cheese
- 8 (1-ounce) slices American cheese
- 32 pimiento-stuffed olives
- Curly lettuce
Directions:
- Spread Sweet Red Pepper Sauce on one side of half of the rye bread slices and mustard on one side of the remaining slices.
- Cut ham and turkey into 64 pieces and each slice of cheese into fourths.
- On 32 slices of bread spread with mustard, place lettuce followed by one slice of Swiss cheese. Next add one slice of turkey and one slice of ham slice each, followed by one slice of American cheese. Top the bread with a spread of Sweet Red Pepper Sauce.
- Divide olives among cocktail picks and skewer sandwiches.
Serve on your favorite party platter and enjoy the snacks!
